Question to anyone that reads this post.

I want to see what you all think. A great question from a great question asker (if there is such a thing). What is the good life?

  1. For me, the good life is having love, family, a significant other to reflect on and off of(think sounding board) as well as meeting all my basic needs. Okay, okay, as well as a few, but not all,of my indulgences. It's when you come to a point in your existence that all feels right, even though you know there's laundry waiting at home and the dog needs to be bathed but everyone is smiling and relaxed, like a beautiful Summer Day at the Beach or a cookout with all the right folks.... I don't think the good life is a constant but a series of moments... and... if you have enough of them on a regular basis then you have achieved something not everyone gets to experience....happiness.

  2. That's a good one, especially recognizing that it's not constant, but rather a string of moments. It's hard to be constantly happy, but it's easy to find happiness in moments. Very nice thought!
